“Kilimo” means farming in Swahili — and at Kilimo Accelerator, it’s more than a practice, it’s a mindset.

This 3-month entrepreneurial life-skills boot camp empowers adolescents aged 13–17 to step into the world of agribusiness with confidence, creativity, and purpose.

Participants are guided through the full cycle of planting, producing, marketing, and profiting from crops. Along the way, they gain not only practical farming knowledge, but also vital life skills in leadership, teamwork, financial literacy, and social innovation.

At Kilimo Accelerator, we don’t just grow crops — we grow changemakers.

We nurture young impact entrepreneurs, or as we like to call them: agripreneurs — youth who harness the power of agriculture to solve local problems, combat poverty, and respond to climate change.

We believe the most sustainable transformation comes from the ground up, and our role is to refine, support, and scale their ideas into thriving social enterprises.
